A Cornwall restaurant has been handed a new four-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

Hawkeys Cafe, a restaurant, cafe or canteen at Hawkeys Shop, St Mawgan, Newquay, Cornwall was given the score after assessment on September 30, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of Cornwall's 1,659 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 1,400 (84%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
