TRELAWNY'S Army — the Cornwall Rugby Supporters' Club — has named Cornish All Blacks second row Ben Hilton as their player of the year for 2010/11, becoming the latest recipient of the Bill Osborne Memorial Shield.

Ben's sterling performances in the boiler house in no small measure helped maintain Cornwall's place in the Bill Beaumont Cup top tier for 2012.

Ben's outstanding endeavours for Cornwall led to him being selected to represent England Counties during their three match tour to Spain last summer, culminating in playing the test match and scoring a try against Spain in a 55-6 win in Valladolid.
