A CHARITY concert last month raised more than £1,500 for new facilities at Launceston Hospital.
The concert held at Launceston Central Methodist Church in November raised £1,576 and was handed over to Launceston Hospital's League of Friends at their recent Christmas coffee morning event.
The money will go towards the friends' campaign for a new minor injuries unit.
The concert which was sponsored by Specsavers of Launceston was well attended at £6 a ticket, with performances from Launceston Male Voice Choir and Tregadillett Songbirds.
