THE support from the community for all involved in the tragic accident of twelve months ago was very evident last week. Between 250 and 300 people gathered in the village play area for the dedication of two memorials to pay tribute to the lives of Mr Matthew Reynolds and Mr Liam Hancock.

The first one was a granite football suitably mounted on a granite plinth. This one was from the local football club, and two of their group had raised money by running from Land's End back to the village, and the whole club responded by going out and getting sponsorship money to support them.
