THIS year's Port Isaac Carnival was another success for the village, with a large number of entries including Oliver Twist, Aladdin and a ginger bread girl, plus vintage tractors, cars, pipe and samba bands and a lifeboat.
Port Isaac Play Group wowed onlooking and won five trophies. Fairy queen Demelza Mosley and attendants Kailyn Lanyon and Isabella Bushell led the procession accompanied by the sound of pipes and drums from the Tarka Band.
The crowded streets soon became filled with an array of colour and sound as the procession wound its way around the village.
Entertaining the crowds and bringing up the rear was the Kernow Pipe and Drum Band who stopped at various locations on route to play some of their favourite tunes.
