A LORRY hit a house in Camelford after being in collision with another lorry on the A39 Victoria Road, near to College Road, last Thursday.

The collision occurred just before 3pm and drivers experienced delays while the road was closed and people were urged to avoid the area.

A Devon and Cornwall Police spokesperson said: “Police were informed of a collision between two lorries on the A39 Victoria Road, near College Road, Camelford. One of the HGVs also hit a house. One of the lorry drivers sustained a minor injury but did not require medical treatment. The A39 was blocked but cleared by 6.10pm. The extent of damage to the house is not known at this time.”
