COLES Mill Viaduct is the only hurdle left to be tackled before Holsworthy is connected with neighbouring towns such as Hatherleigh via the Ruby Way Cycle Path, revealed Devon project manager for the National Cycle Network Graham Cornish.

Graham gave an insightful update on the project to councillors at the Holsworthy Town Council meeting on Wednesday, April 6.

The Ruby Way, which when finished, will be the longest traffic-free walking / cycling / horse-riding route in the UK, and ultimately hopes to link with the Tarka Trail at its eastern end and to Bude on the coast in the west.
