On Tuesday, November 6, following on from an impromptu visit earlier in the year, PFCSO Mark James and PCSO Emma Tomkies were invited back to speak with the members of the very popular Bridgerule Coffee Club, about fire safety awareness.

PFCSO James stressed the importance of fire safety equipment for all households but emphasised the particular needs within the community of those, potentially, more vulnerable residents, due to age and loss of mobility. The fire service offers home safety checks with advice on fire safety alarms and equipment, free of charge, this service has already been taken up by a number of Bridgerule residents.
