THE Rydon Village Clubhouse opened its doors to the public last Thursday, to host a fundraising cream tea event on behalf of the Long House Appeal.

Two hundred and thirty pounds was collected including sales support from Harry Fudge, Phoenix Trading, Sarah’s Devon Book Shelf, Chicks Chucks and Mucky Ducks and of course, cream teas.

Also on offer was a delicious selection of the residents’ home baked cakes.
