CORNWALL Councillor for Bude South Nigel Pearce has asked for an urgent meeting with Cornwall council officers to discuss why the council have disconnected the beach showers at Summerleaze and Crooklets beaches at Bude.

Cllr Pearce explained: "Surfers are in the sea all year around and many of them want a shower after surfing and I have asked Cornwall Council to turn the showers back on again."
