THE Bude Cleaner Seas project held another successful beach clean at Summerleaze, Bude, last Sunday. Around 20 people turned up in glorious sunshine to help collect litter from the beach and dunes. The beach clean was held in conjunction with the Bude Arts And Music 'It's Not Rubbish' competition, which invites people to create a piece of art from rubbish found on the beach. The winning entry will be announced during the Bude Arts And Music Summer Festival being held at Crooklets on Saturday, July 5 and Sunday, July 6. Bude Cleaner Seas project manager Ian Saltern said: "We had a great morning and shifted a good deal of plastic and other rubbish from the beach and dunes. I'd like to thank all those who attended."
