NEARLY 3,000 riders took part in the ninth annual Dartmoor Classic cycle event on Sunday, some coming from as far afield as Trinidad and Tobago.
Approximately 1,100 tackled the 107-mile 'grande' route, 1,600 rode the 67-mile 'medio' and 200 women completed the 35-mile 'debutante'.
The event was based at Newton Abbot Racecourse and covered much of the moor and the Teign Valley.
