On Wednesday, December 9, the annual Joyce Whitehouse Christmas Party was held at the Clease Hall, Camelford, for people who live in the local area, who are over 60 and live on their own. Around 70 people attended the event which was started in 1963 by Joyce Whitehouse, who was the chairman of Camelford Rural District Council. The entertainment was provided by some members of the Camelford Town Band, who played carols.
