BUDE Foodbank will have a collection at the upcoming Bude Christmas Fayre, and they are asking for donations to help make Christmas for local families in need.
They have provided a list of items that they would really appreciate, including mince pies, apple pies, hot chocolate, Christmas puddings, Christmas cake, shortbread biscuits, boxes of biscuits, children’s selection chocolate packs, boxes of chocolates, large bars of chocolate, Christmas crackers, jams and pickles, chocolate spread, tinned ham and salmon, snacks and nibbles (crisps, peanuts, popcorn), trifle mix (sponge, jelly, etc), serviettes, evaporated milk, gravy granules, and anything you see on the shelf that you think might be nice for a family this Christmas, which will still be in date by Christmas Day.
The foodbank have also said donations of presents would be gratefully accepted too, including stocking fillers, toys and teddies, or anything else that you think might make a nice gift for children.
The Bude Christmas Fayre will be held across both the Parkhouse Centre and The Castle on Sunday, December 2, from 11am to 4pm. The collection for Bude Foodbank will be situated in the Parkhouse Centre.
