THERE was a tasty start to St Breward Church's regular coffee mornings with a record net total of £413 for the annual hot chocolate event.

In addition to the usual stalls, there was a give-a-name game run by the village Handbell Ringers with a fluffy snowcat as the prize. The bric-a-brac comprised all fresh goods and the raffle was groaning with excellent prizes.
