A CHIMNEY fire at a property on the road from Commons Gate to Lana Cross, Tetcott, was tackled by firefighters on Saturday (March 4).

Shortly before 1pm, firefighters from Holsworthy attended the scene, and used chimney gear and a thermal imaging camera to extinguish the fire.

The following day, Holsworthy firefighters were called to a chimney fire agt Ratherton Cottages.

Crews put out the fire at around 6.22pm using chimney gear, a ladder and a thermal imaging camera to check for hot spots.

Duty of care was left with the occupant.
