CHILDREN from St Petroc's School, in Bude, got into the harvest spirit by participating in a theatrical version of 'The Gigantic Turnip', by Alekesei Tolstoy and Niamh Sharkey.
Sabine Thorne, Year 6 teacher said: "The assembly was a lot of fun and achieved many laughs. However, most of all it showed the true meaning of harvest; celebrating our good fortune by sharing what we have with others and caring for those less fortunate than ourselves."
