SOUND Waves South West welcomed ‘The Heartwood Trio’ to Bude recently.

The trio comprises an oboe, clarinet and bassoon player. The artistes attended 14 different schools; Morwenstow in the North and as far down as Camelford, Boscastle and Warbstow. In all, over 1,000 children benefitted from the workshops, particularly enjoying the theatrical presentation.

The chairman, trustees and patrons of Sound Waves expressed their gratitude to the Wessex Youth Trust once again for their generous grant, which enable these annual workshops to take place.
