On Sunday, November 1, a charity walk was undertaken by some Camelford Rotarians and friends. The club organised a 10-mile walk from Roughtor car park, walking across the moor and finishing up at Palmers in St Breward. On arrival at St Breward, the intrepid walkers were welcomed to some wonderful food cooked by Angie Callaway and Jenny Round, with the help of Emily Callaway, who had baked some cakes. The Rotarians who were brave and fit enough to make the walk, were joined by some friends and around £500 was raised for Mount Edgcumbe Hospice.
