A GREAT day was had a Launceston Golf Club when just over £2,000 was raised for the NSPCC earlier this month.
It is hoped the charity golf day can be held again next year.
Martin Ryan, chairman of the Launceston branch of the NSPCC, said: “The NSPCC were very grateful for their help and support. I would also like to thank all of those that played on the day and all of the kind supporters who generously donated hole sponsorship or gave prizes for the raffle, which were magnificent.
“We hope to hold the event next year at Launceston Golf Club where we hope to increase the size of the event as it was so successful. Last but not least a very big thank you to all of those on the committee who helped to make it such a wonderful event raising a magnificent £2,000.”
