BUDE boy, Samuel Jennings, who recently completed a charity cycle ride of more than 1,000 miles from John O'Groats to Land's End, has been shortlisted for the ITV Pride of Britain Young Fundraiser award. Samuel, aged 12, has raised over £13,000 to be shared between Bude Sea Pool, Daniel's Heroes, which supports Spinal Muscular Atrophy Support UK and the Children's Hospice South West. News of his shortlisting was a nice surprise for Samuel who said he was 'really pleased'. An ITV crew visited Samuel earlier in the week and interviewed him and his family.
