THE Friends of Bude Sea Pool were the benefactors to the tune of over £2,000 of a fashion show instigated by Colin Danks and supported by a number of other businesses. It was held free of charge recently at Adventure International. The fashion show was very well received by the 150-plus people in attendance and the three firms involved were given a variety of 10 minute slots to display their impressive lines. Colin Danks also gave an impressive hair styling display in front of the audience at the start of the second half. The success of the evening has prompted the organisers to repeat the event at the same location in mid March, when even more firms will take part in the improved presentation and display format.
