STAFF of a farm shop in Launceston have expressed disappointment after charity boxes were stolen during a break-in over the weekend.
Food and drink to the value of around £50, including cheese, and in the region of £280 in cash were also taken from Bray Farm Shop sometime between 7.15pm Saturday night and 12.45pm Sunday, August 6 to 7, with the theft discovered on Sunday afternoon.
The charity boxes taken were in aid of the Air Ambulance, St Luke’s Hospice and the British Heart Foundation.
Owner/manager Lindsay McAsey said: “We are upset and disappointed it’s happened. We are part of the community and didn’t expect this to happen.”
