THE Camelford Pop In Centre celebrated its 40th birthday on Saturday, September 2.

The centre was formed on September 2, 1977, in the lower town hall building by the Town Trust. A spokesperson said: “We thank the Town Trust for their help over the years and to all the supporters who have worked voluntarily for the last 40 years.”

There was a large crowd of friends and supporters of the Pop In Centre, who enjoyed the celebration. Refreshments were proviced and the usual cups of tea and coffee to enjoy this special morning.
