THE Haven Art Group is a group of local amateur artists who meet every week at the Methodist Church Hall in Marhamchurch, near Bude, to share their passion for art.

Every year they hold an exhibition of the work they have created, including all original paintings in a variety of mediums such as, oil, acrylic, watercolour, pastel and more.

They also run an annual ‘group painting’ project, which this year represents ‘The Olympics’.

This year they will be adding hand-made crafts, which have been created by some of the groups members. The hand-made crafts will include jewellery, knitting, folk/decorative painting and cards.

Some of their work will also be on display at Bude Tourist Information Centre on August 29, 30 and 31.

The exhibition starts on Saturday, August 27, and will run until Saturday, September 3, from 10am to 6pm, daily.

Admission is free, but donations to the Methodist Hall are welcome.
