REPORTS of a number of big cat sightings in recent editions of the 'Post' have provoked significant reaction across North Cornwall, with Bude resident Joan Bradshaw the latest to come forward and give her own account.

She saw the animal the canal area not too far from Helebridge around six years ago. Unlike other momentary sightings, Joan said she had a good couple of minutes in which to observe it, and was left in no doubt she the distinctive black colour, long tail and large shape belonged to something out of the ordinary.
