THE Launceston and Holsworthy branches of RGB building supplies are asking their customers and members of the public to donate gifts, no matter how big or small, to the ‘Christmas Present Appeal’ in aid of Children’s Hospice South West (CHSW).
Until Monday, December 12, the branches will be collecting gifts for a child of any age or their parents and placing under the tree in their store.
At the end of the appeal, CHSW will distribute the gifts to the children and families they support who are dealing with life limiting illnesses. They presents will be delivered just in time for them to be enjoyed over the festive period.
Tony Jackman and Les Ellender, branch managers at RGB Launceston and Holsworthy, said: “Children’s Hospice South West provides incredible care to children and their families across the region and we’re delighted to be supporting them with our Christmas Present Appeal. The presents can range from a toy for a younger child or a DVD for an older child, to something small for parents so that all members of a family who are spending the Christmas period at the hospice will receive a gift.”
It is requested that presents be donated unwrapped to ensure they are age appropriate for their recipients.
