ANOTHER year featuring the successful ‘four days of fun’ event in Camelford has been hailed as a success by the organisers.

Camelford Town Council have said that the event was a success thanks to those who supported and took part in the family orientated community event.

The events were split into four days, namely “family Thursday” which saw a family fun run, teddy bear’s picnic, circus skills workshop and duck race.

On the Friday, it was ‘fur and feathers Friday’ featuring a screech owl sanctuary, wild science animals, dog show and bird and bat walk.

At the weekend, events included a three churches walk and a lego building competition.

A spokesperson for Camelford Town Council said: “Another successful 'Four Days of Fun' has come and gone!

“Camelford Town Council would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who took part and came along to support the various events, and hopes that everyone had a great time in doing so! Camelford Town Council would like to also say a special thank you to the following people/groups/businesses for their support.

“Camelford Up and Running, The Little Acorns Nursery, Ross from Hotch Potch Performance, Screech Owl Sanctuary & Animal Park, Alpaca Trekking Cornwall, Wild Science UK, Abby’s Icecream Treats, St Thomas's Church, St Julitta's Church, St Adwenna's Church, Camelford Hall, Camelford Brownie's, OCM: Skate: Create, Prodigal UPG, Inspire Event Hire, Camelford Leisure Centre, all the local people/groups/businesses that donated their time and/or materials, Peggy Ellison, Colin the dog show judge, and finally the Camelford Town Council events committee, councillors, and staff.
