a group of 15 Camelford Young Farmers will be setting off on a 900 mile Charity Tractor Run from John O'Groats to Lands End in aid of Cancer

Research UK on April 9, 10 and 11.

Main sponsors of the event are Claas UK and have kindly allowed them the use of a brand new Claas tractor to complete the run. To signify the contribution, the run has been entitled 'Camelford YFC's A Touch of Claas Tractor Run.'

Eleven members, two club leaders, the club's Vice President Alan Sanders and Hamblys

representative Martyn Conway will be taking part to complete the full journey and will take turns

driving the tractor.

Generous donations have been received from

various businesses. Significant sponsorship to cover the white diesel for both the tractor and supporting mini bus have also been received.

Members have been collecting their own personal sponsorship from family and friends. The club is

extremely grateful for everyone's generosity.

Those participating will be setting off in a mini bus on Wednesday, April 7 in order to arrive at John O'Groats on Thursday afternoon. Claas UK have arranged for the tractor to be ready and waiting at John O'Groats prior to departure on Friday, April 9.

If all goes to plan they should arrive at Lands End mid afternoon on Sunday, April 11 and will be

welcomed by family and friends.
