FIREFIGHTERS from Launceston and the rescue tender from Bodmin were called to a single vehicle road traffic collision at Dutston at around 12.45am last Wednesday (September 21).

On arrival it was confirmed one person was trapped, crews worked with attending ambulance personnel to release of the casualty, who was then taken into the care of paramedics.

Police were in attendance at the incident.

A VEHICLE fire on the A30 Westbound between the Roadford Lake junction and Lifton was attended by firefighters from Launceston Community Fire Station on Saturday (September 24).

Firefighters were called to the incident around 7.45pm and the fire was extinguished by 8.30pm.

FIREFIGHTERS from Launceston Community Fire Station attended a report of a street light arcing on Race Hill at around 9.50pm on Saturday (September 24).

The crew isolated the power to the street light to make it safe.

Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service said Highways were informed to arrange repair.
