CAMELFORD Dementia Action Alliance held an Easter cake sale on March 24 under The Mason’s Arms archway in aid of the new Purple Angel Top Town Memory Café.
The memory café is now being held every second and fourth Wednesday of the month at Camelford Hall, Clease Road, from 1pm to 3pm.
All those with memory loss and their carers and families are welcome.
There is no charge for the café or refreshments and the aim is to provide a stimulating and social meeting place where new friends can be made and you can find support and information.
Jane Moore, secretary, said: “Our thanks to the town of Camelford for their stunning contribution to our funds of £210 from a raffle and the cake sale, which will be put towards the rent and outgoings, and also thanks to Jo at The Mason’s Arms for the archway and coffee!”
For more information, please phone Jane Moore on 01840 212780 or Jane Sleeman on 01840 211337 or simply pop in to the café.
