CADETS from the Bude platoon of the Cornwall Army Cadet Force collected their glittering trophies at the annual presentation evening on Monday, December 16.

Cadets who have performed to the highest standard throughout the year were awarded trophies and medals to recognise their achievements.

They were presented by Major Martyn Baker who is Inkerman company's new commander. Major Aimee Mitchell, who previously held the post, handed over the reins to Martyn in the summer.

Allan Litchfield, chairman of Bude Royal British Legion and Brian Luff of the Royal Naval Association, also attended, as did representatives from the branch with their standards.
