The theme for this year's art exhibition at Bradworthy Primary School is 'The Cabinet of Curiosities.'
Using work by most children in the school, they have created the study and collection of Professor Chrysolophagus Buff-Orpington — a member of the Royal Society of Natural Philosophers.
In the collection are a life sized Unicorn, a Dodo and a three metre dinosaur that the professor dug up in his garden while planting peas.
There are areas devoted to Astrophysics, Microbiology, Phrenology and many other sciences.
For the first time, they are including in their collection work by colleagues at West and East Putford.
The centrepiece of the exhibition is a reconstruction of Professor Buff-Orpington's study with its collections of butterflies, beetles and apothecaries jars.
Guided tours are provided with imaginative eloquence by Year 6 pupils in the guise of members of the Royal Society of Natural Philosophers.
