PEOPLE came from far and wide to wish Peter Hodgson a long and happy retirement at Launceston Town Hall last Thursday evening. Peter started his accountancy career with Peat Marwick and while with them in London, was working at the sharp end of a number of high profile international accounts. He said: "When I left London 42 years ago I was used to balancing information from the Stock Exchange on a daily basis with FT reports and some ticklish political situations. Soon after coming home I found myself in the sale ring with a fine bull — that was much more scary."
