CAMELFORD Police have issued a warning to local
businesses that there is a possible telephone scam
circulating in the area.
The scam appears to target businesses claiming that they have spoken to somebody before about sponsoring a crime prevention book, which is to be distributed to schools.
A police spokesman said: "Do not get involved or give any details to the caller. Contact your nearest trading
standards office to inform them of the details."
