CUTTING her hair for charity is no new thing for Rosie Lewis, and she was at it again recently — popping next door from the Yoga Studio, Bude to Liz Britton's Hair Design to raise funds for the Little Princess Trust.

The charity makes wigs for children or young adults who have suffered hair loss through cancer treatment or other causes. Making sure there was at least 10 inches to cut — when measured Rosie managed to give nearly 12 inches — Liz then proceeded to give her her new hair style.

Rosie's neighbour June Green also donated some hair she had previously had cut, and she hopes that some other people in Bude may think about a new style too.

Anyone who would like to donate their hair can call Rosie on 01288 354722 or 07760 992741, and she will offer advice about how to go about it, including collecting the braid.

Never being one to let the chance slip by to raise money, Rosie is also trying to support CLIC Sargent and her funds got off to a great start, with Liz donating the cost of the new hair cut.

Again, if anyone would like to support this fund they can call Rosie, or drop by the Yoga Studio or Liz Britton's, where there are collection boxes.

Rosie said:?"I know times are hard for everyone, and sadly our charitable donations are sometimes the first cut backs we make.

"Every little helps and I truly believe that both of these causes are amazing in the work they do to help young people and their families deal with cancer.

"Most of our lives have been touched by cancer in some shape or form, and it seems twice as unbearable when a child or young adult is involved."
