MEMBERS of North Cornwall District Council's Planning Committee went against a recommendation to refuse an application for the erection of a wind turbine at Dingles Cottage, Poughill, at their meeting on Tuesday. The application — for Mr C Woodward — sought consent for the erection of a single 6kw micro- generating wind turbine at the site, which would stand 17.8m in height to the blade tip, the tower being 15m in height SEE the current Bude & Stratton Post for the full story.
