The Bude Seaside Friend’s Group held an Easter Coffee Morning for Children’s Hospice South West on Thursday, March 30, raising a wonderful sum.

The event sadly began with a minute’s silence for Mrs Brenda Giles, who recently passed away – she was a dear friend and long standing member of the group, who will be truly missed.

The morning was well supported and raised the wonderful amount of £345.

A huge ‘thank you’ was expressed, especially to Margaret and Andrew Shepherd for hosting the event and to everyone who donated or came along to support it.
