A car found itself on its side after an early morning road traffic collision near Bude.

The incident, which happened in the early hours of February 8, involved a single car overturning on Kilkhampton Road, between Kilkhampton and Bude, near the Little Pig Farm Shop and Cafe.

No one was hurt in the incident, which led to the road being closed for approximately two hours while Police undertook a recovery operation.

A spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Police confirmed details of the incident.

The spokesperson said: "This was a non-injury, single-vehicle RTC (Road Traffic Collision) on Kilkhampton Road, Bude.

"Police were called at about 7.30am on February 8.

"The road was closed for a short while in both directions when the vehicle was recovered, and reopened at 9.30am."
