BUDE residents will now be able to register a death on one of two days in the town, instead of just one, after a meeting between the town council and Cornwall councillors.

By law, a death must be registered within five days. However, with the Bude Registration Office previously being open just one day a week, that wasn’t possible. But a Thursday morning slot has now been added, meaning the office is now open from 9.30am to 1pm and 1.30pm to 4pm on Tuesdays and between 9.30am and 1pm on Thursdays.
