BUDE Primary Federation’s school council led in a wide range of fundraising activities, raising £1,500 for three causes — Children in Need, remembering the much-missed Jaye Napier, and supporting child refugees.

Activities included a spotty school disco, spotty hot dog sale — of which the school has thanked Morrisons, the Co-op and Sainsburys — a spotty cake sale, spotty Pudsey art competitions, spotty non-school uniform day, Year 6 ‘wake and shake all day’ spotty marathon, and a new school sponsored spotty cartwheeling record being set in ‘spotcaular’ style by the gym club, as well as a Bags2School collection.

There were various Pudsey prizes and surprises in a special assembly, after which Mrs McConnell and Mr Paton were sponge-soaked with freezing cold water in the spotty stocks.

Pudsey will be looked after this year by black rock class, who raised over a whopping £10 per class member.
