BUDE Fire Station has been given the capabilities for water rescue in times of flooding with a new raft.

In Cornwall there is already water rescue capabilities available in wholetime stations based at Falmouth and St Austell.

Following a 'risk based profile' approach, Bude was identified as an area that would benefit from such a resource being in place.
