A BUDE father is appealing for people to get in touch with the police with information following a burglarly that took place recently.

Dave Cross said he is "disgusted" after his disabled son's home was burgled sometime over the first week in October.

Sebastian Cross, who lives on the housing estate behind Morrisons in Bude, had gone away with his girlfriend for a week, only to return to find his home had been burgled.

Dave explained that his son moved to Bude in December and moved out with his girlfriend in September and are expecting a baby.

Due to Sebastian's blind disability, Dave had adapted many of his belongings to make them more 'user-friendly' such as his laptop and television set, which were amongst the stolen items.

He was looking after the couple's fish whilst they were away and believe someone may have been watching him enter the property.
