WITH sponsorship from the Bude community through online resource Crowdfund, an event to showcase local talent will be held early next year.

Local businesses and job seekers worked together to create #BigUpBude Talent. The idea was to inspire community cohesion as well as giving the opportunity for local talent to "gain the success they deserve".

Around £750 was needed to fund the event, but in fundraising events, including a bag packing service at a local supermarket and support through crowdfunder .co.uk, £1,270 was raised.
