A SINGER and song writer from Bude, has hit a high note with a choir he set up following a string of requests from enthusiasts.

Gary McCausland, who moved to Bude nine years ago to teach guitar and drums in schools, is passionate about teaching music.

Around two/three years ago he was asked to form a choir, but unfortunately a venue could not be found and it failed to get underway. Since then Gary has continued to receive requests and in January he was "besieged" by people encouraging him to restart the choir.
