At least one third of St Mary's Churchyard in the Open section, is looking more trim thanks to the volunteers who turned out in force on Saturday, May 30th to offer their manpower to cut the grass.

The vicar of the Ross-on-Wye church, Reverend Sarah Jones, told the Ross Gazette that she was thrilled by the support shown by people in the town.

She said:"We'd really like to say thanks to the people who helped with the working party. There is a video showing their efforts which will appear on the Church Facebook page on Wednesday afternoon, June 3rd."
