A BOSCASTLE man who caused £1,350 worth of damage to three vehicles was made the subject of a community order at Liskeard Magistrates' Court on April 3.
The court heard that on February 16 at Boscastle, Andrew Thomas John Elliot Kelly, aged 22 of Langsford Meadows, Boscastle damaged a Nissan Micra to the value of £300 belonging to Hazel Beetles, an Audi A3 to the value of £250 belonging to Christian Rasmussen and a Honda Civic to the value of £800 belonging to Tony Cann.
A guilty plea was indicated and a community order was imposed requiring the defendant to undertake alcohol specified activity for 14 weeks and attend appointments with a probation officer for 12 months.
The defendant, who is to be electronically monitored, was also put under a curfew for six weeks which requires him to remain indoors at his home on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from 8pm to 7am.
He was also ordered to pay £300 compensation to Hazel Beetles, £250 to Christian Rasmussen and £800 to Tony Cann.
