FOR the second year running, Stratton was overwhelmed by book lovers of all ages eager to be a part of BookFest, held at St Andrew's Church between Friday and Sunday, March 1 and 3.
With a variety of books displayed, many left the festival laden with literature. Every child left with a free book and even the adults had the opportunity for a free book.
As ever, the signed book raffle was a huge draw and Dan Rogerson MP for North Cornwall came along on Friday lunch time, not as a politician but as an avid book reader, and to support the aim of improving children's reading skills.
