NOT a lot this week, snow took its toll on several games, writes Dave Clark.

Yarnscombe, one of our far flung protagonists, managed to make the long journey to Stratton and went away with 3 of the 4 points on offer in a very close game against our Blue team.The game was in doubt up until the last wood was bowled in a 36-37 loss against one of the top premier league clubs.

In the Cornwall League against Altarnun I only have the home result to hand as yet but we have already guaranteed some points for a home win.

On a sad note it is with deep regret I must report the death of Chris Snowden.

Chris played for many years at Stratton until a stroke curtailed her play some years ago.

The whole club send their best wishes to Alf and the rest of the family at this sad time.
