THANKS have been expressed to all those who attended a recent charity bingo at Launceston, which raised £536 for charity.

Diane Barr and Peter Prynne expressed their thanks following the recent bingo at the White Hart Hotel, which raised money for the British Heart Foundation. The cheque was presented to Shane Gilbert, who received it on behalf of the foundation.

Both Di and Peter in the past 12 months have had heart issues and said they felt this was a good way of saying thank you.

They expressed special thanks to Anna Mitchell for all of her work on social media and for all the donations from local businesses, and to Judith Prynne and her helpers on the night.
